The Lake Forest Swim Team bettered their record to 8 wins and 2 losses after beating their rival swim team, Lake Shawnee by a score of 258 to 178. This win clinched a first place in the small division for Lake Forest!! I couldn't be more proud of every one of my swimmers! We have one more dual meet on Wednesday against Flanders. We are looking forward for Silver's Championships on Saturday, August 2nd and then Trials and Finals the following week. Stay tuned for results in the next few weeks.
For those of you who haven't heard, there has been sightings and reports of a large Boa Constrictor loose in Lake Hopatcong. As much as this can be a very scary at first, you should not be too alarmed. Animal control is conducting an active search as we speak in and around the areas it has been sighted. Snakes like this will only become a danger if they feel threatening so let's leave that up to the experts.
As for my swimmers.....We swim at all costs. No snakes are going to scare us away from winning!!!! Hi everyone! My name is Scott Davis and I would like to start my blog with an update on the start of the season for my summer swim team! I am the head coach for the Lake Forest Vikings Swim Team located in Lake Hopatcong, NJ. I was a swimmer on the team since I was 5 years old and have been their coach for a total of 6 summers.
The team consists of 55 swimmers ranging from age 5 through 18 and we compete against 11 other swim teams around the area that make up the New Jersey Regional Lake League. We currently have a record of 3 wins and 2 losses which puts us at the top of the standings in the Small Division!!!! We look forward to a promising victory this Wednesday when we swim at home against Mendham!!! Check out our team's web page |
